Position Summary:

Agency Program Coordinator duties for the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) program.

• Onboard new personnel and obtain new travel cards.
• Monitor GTCC transactions and accounts to prevent delinquency actions.
• Update and maintain command’s approved travel log.
• Provide assistance to travelers throughout the travel process.
• Administer budget for program areas; plan, administer, and monitor execution of programs including analysis of budgetary and accounting information.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Determined suitable for federal employment.
• Participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• Successfully complete E-Verify employment verification (new employees to the Department of the Navy).
• Meet applicable time‑in‑grade requirements for federal employees applying for GS jobs.
• Appointment of retired military members within 180 days after retirement subject to DoD Code 5 U.S.C. § 3326.
• Males born after 12‑31‑59 must be registered for Selective Service.
• Obtain and maintain interim/final security clearance prior to duty; failure to maintain clearance may result in withdrawal or removal.
• Financial Management Level I certified per NDAA 2012; must achieve certification within prescribed timelines per DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS‑07, including monitoring GTCC transactions, serving as Defense Travel System Coordinator, assisting with contract strategy, maintaining documentation, analyzing budget and accounting data, and administering program budgets.
