What You Will Have An Opportunity To DoAs a Shuttle Driver, you will make a memorable first impression for guests and provide transport throughout their stay. You will be a source of knowledge about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area.
Your Role- Help guests discover their “Wanderlust” experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service with an engaging and sincere interest in guests.
- Welcome all guests to the vehicle, open doors as needed, and assist with bags.
- Maintain knowledge of the local area, traffic patterns, and directions to popular attractions and restaurants.
- Offer recommendations of other areas of interest.
- Maintain cleanliness and operation of the shuttle, reporting any problems to the manager.
- Assist guests in securing other forms of transportation as needed.
- Work with other attendants to ensure personalized guest experiences and “dive” into opening doors for all guests.
- Assist the lobby attendant in keeping the entrance area clean and organized.
- Be the difference with all guests and employees, going beyond the norm.
- At least two years in a customer‑service role with high guest interaction.
- Hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with no infractions.
- Problem‑solving ability when issues arise.
- Teamwork skills required.
- Pleasant and helpful personality.
- Knowledgeable of the Newport area and attractions.
- Must be able to stand for a full shift.
- Strong desire to make an impact on people.
- Outgoing and engaging personality.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced setting.
- Must be available for various shifts including weekends and holidays.
$16 per hour.
