Systems Administrator II - Newport, RI

Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Systems Administrator II to join our team in Newport, RI.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Applicants must have or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish, maintain, and assist personnel in troubleshooting and repairing serial and IP-based communications systems and networks.
• Assist government personnel in maintaining strict configuration control of current architectures.
• Participate in Computer and Communications Systems Engineering Reviews and provide technical representation at meetings as required.
• Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating their installation.
• Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to user environments.
• Coordinate and link computer systems within the organization to increase compatibility and facilitate information sharing.
• Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
• Provide network and system administration for the assigned Computer and Communications Systems.

EXPERIENCE:

• At least three (3) years of professional experience in systems administration.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• Must hold and maintain active Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) certification for Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT-II), such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP.
