Material Science & Technology; MSAT) Scientist

Agilent seeks a Manufacturing Science & Technology scientist to lead technical optimization of liquid chromatography column production. The role bridges manufacturing, quality, and R&D to solve production challenges, improve process capability, and enhance product consistency through data-driven solutions.

• Provide technical leadership for liquid chromatography column manufacturing processes and operations
• Lead root cause investigations for production issues affecting quality, yield, or customer performance
• Apply statistical analysis and Design of Experiments to drive process improvements and reduce variability
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges and support technology transfer and scale-up
• Develop process knowledge, control strategies, and technical standards for consistent manufacturing performance

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• 4+ years manufacturing environment experience with process improvement knowledge
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools for technical problem-solving
• Ability to lead cross-functional investigations and implement corrective actions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Preferred: chromatography, silica materials, or consumables manufacturing experience
• Preferred: DOE, SPC, Lean Six Sigma, or advanced analytics experience

$103,200–$161,250 base annually plus bonus, stock, and benefits eligibility
