Summary
Directs and monitors the daily activities in assigned nursing department to ensure standards of patient care are met. Plans, delegates, and directs comprehensive nursing care by assigning, instructing, and leading a team of professional and/or ancillary staff. Serves as clinical and professional resource and performs the duties and responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse II. Performs other duties as designated by the Manager or Assistant Clinical Manager.

- Seeks certification in field of Rehabilitative Nursing within one year of hire.
- Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
- Graduate from a school of nursing and licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.
- BSN and certification in area of specialty preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years nursing experience in assigned area.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
