SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Software Engineer I.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking an entry level Software Engineers with ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance out of its main location in Middletown, RI. This role will work within a multidisciplinary team of SEACORP and government personnel to define, design, and integrate software capabilities into complicated military systems.
As a Software Engineer at SEACORP, you will be:
- Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of a key feature in the USS-DSW including development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
- Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
- Participate in daily scrums, 2-3 week sprints, demonstration and retrospective ceremonies.
- Work Includes Front and back end development.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with a field of concentration in Computer Science.
Experience: Preferred knowledge of C++, Java, Python, Atlassian Tool Suite, Linux. Candidate should have the ability to be to work in a fast pace work environments. Able to collaborate with others while being able to handle independent tasking. Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
