Delivery Specialist – O'Reilly Auto Parts

The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner, collect cash on delivery, and pick up customer returns.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicles clean and complete daily inspections before operating.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected money at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure the fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking/straightening stock, merchandising, errands, handling core returns, checking in and placing stock orders, etc.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, or help with merchandising when business dictates.
• Complete any other duties assigned.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record that meets the company’s 14/18‑point record system.
• Possession of a legally required state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
