• Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D), 5 beds
• Patient Ratios: Laboring Patient 1:1, Postpartum 1:3 Mom/3 Babies
• Scrub Color: Turquoise
• EMR System: Cerner

• Active Tennessee RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Willingness to work either Christmas Eve or Christmas Night
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the Newport facility
• Strong commitment to patient- and family-centered care

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit, addressing psychosocial, physical, and developmental needs
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient condition, diagnostic results, and symptom changes
• Deliver care with initiative and responsibility, upholding professional nursing standards
• Support patients and families with compassionate, thorough communication
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
• Follow all healthcare facility policies, including holiday coverage and call requirements
