Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license (Registered Nurse)

• Must reside more than 50 miles from Newport, TN facility

• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; call may be required

• Must provide requested time off (RTO) with submission and make up missed shifts at contract end
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care services addressing psychosocial, physical, developmental, and general aspects of care

• Meet communication needs of patients and families

• Demonstrate initiative and responsibility as a healthcare professional

• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, diagnostic test results, and symptomatology

• Provide care in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR
