As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Smoky Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center, you will:
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans and within the LPN scope of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as ordered.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Collect and document resident health information and contribute to nursing assessments and care planning within your scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide guidance, supervision, and support to nursing assistants as appropriate.
- Follow infection control practices, safety procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-centered care environment.
- Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
- Current, active Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to nursing.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care.
