You will welcome customers to Lowe’s and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout auftreten,lig, help them find and select products,'ihu Occasionally load merchandiseريب and ensure all customer needs are met. Although you will spend most of your time listening, answering questions, and organizing merchandise, your daily responsibilities may vary by department.

Customer Service Associates work in one of the following departments, based on hiring needs and skillsets:
Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down‑stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise writer. as expected and on time.
• Cross‑train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted, or over 25 lbs with or without an accommodation.

• Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials).

This role does not require regular travel; however, it may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

Environmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting methods vary; associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.

Powered equipment should be used offenders with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
