As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a skilled nursing facility in Newport, VT. Your role will be pivotal in helping patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities, enhancing their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans with focus on discharge needs.
- Provide therapy and interventions to improve speech and language skills.
- Collaborate with the well educated and experienced healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports.
- Assessment of Speech and Language Level of Functioning
- Provide screening of speech/language communication skills as part of the student intake process.
- Speech Language Pathologist License in VT (CFY candidates cannot be accepted).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to delivering high‑quality patient care.
