As an Infection Preventionist – LPN/LVN – under the direction of an RN, you will be responsible for one or multiple centers’ Infection Prevention and Control Program and will function as a practitioner, resource, consultant, educator and facilitator for all staff focusing on the following areas:

• Infection Prevention – Control Activities
• Outbreak Management
• Employee Health and Outcome – Process Surveillance (identifying, investigating, analyzing, controlling and reporting infections)

Must be able to work flexible hours to meet with employees working evening and night shifts.

• LPN/LVN must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current practical or vocational nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• A minimum of three years full‑time or equivalent nursing experience is required.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience in long‑term care nursing with one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred.
• Previous experience in infection prevention and control is preferred.
