Your duties will include:

• - Purchase ledger and supplier management
• - Bank reconciliations
• - Credit control support
• - Accruals and prepayments
• - Assisting with monthly management accounts
• - Budget monitoring and reporting
• - Month-end activities
• - Project accounting support
• - Financial analysis and reporting
• - Supporting finance process improvements and system enhancements

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to bridge the gap between an Accounts Assistant role and a more commercial Assistant Accountant position.

You’ll ideally have:

• - AAT Level 4 or be actively studying towards it
• - Experience in an Assistant Accountant, Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role
• - Strong reconciliation and purchase ledger experience
• - Knowledge of accruals and prepayments
• - Good Excel skills
• - Strong attention to detail
• - A proactive attitude and desire to learn
• - Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, evolving business

Experience with in engineering, manufacturing, project-based businesses or management accounts support would be advantageous but is not essential.
