Role Summary
We have an exciting role available for a Club Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests and members at all times and ensure a warm, memorable and personalised welcome to the Aqua Club & Headland Spa. The Aqua Club is our multi-million-pound leisure complex, featuring six pools, a sun terrace with ocean views and a restaurant named The Deck.
The Club Receptionist will work across both Reception desks in the Aqua Club and Headland Spa, greeting every guest with a smile and using natural warmth to make every interaction memorable. You will demonstrate the ability to multitask in a busy but relaxed environment and will thrive on exceeding guests’ and members’ expectations.
Organised and confident, you will demonstrate a proactive and passionate approach to guest care. Working in a one‑team culture, a team‑work mindset will benefit you in forming relationships with the Aqua Club, Spa and wider hotel team.
Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and members.
- Deliver genuine hospitality and exceed expectations.
- Multitask in a busy environment while maintaining a proactive and passionate approach.
- Work across the Aqua Club and Headland Spa reception desks.
- Previous experience in a leisure or spa environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office packages and spa/hotel management/booking software such as Maestro is preferable.
- Experience as a Spa/Beauty Therapist and product knowledge of Elemis and Seabody are distinct advantages, but not essential.
This is a permanent position based on a 32‑hour working week, working 4 days out of 7 including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. In line with UK Immigration and Employment Law, only applicants eligible to live and work in the UK need apply. Proof of be required in the form of a Passport, National Identity Card or Birth Certificate.
