Legal Assistant – Law Graduate

Our client, a well-established law firm based in Newquay, is seeking a motivated Law Graduate to join their team as a Legal Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to gain hands‑on legal experience with a view to securing a future Training Contract. The firm is keen to support ambitious individuals who are committed to developing a long‑term career within the legal profession.

The successful candidate will support fee earners within either the Conveyancing or Family Law department (depending on preference).

• Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
• Liaising with clients, third parties and other professionals
• Opening and maintaining client files
• Conducting legal research where required
• Supporting fee earners with day‑to‑day case management
• General administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the department

This role would suit a proactive and organised Law Graduate who is eager to learn, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and has excellent communication skills.
