Technician - Night Shift

Mid-Cornwall (North Cornish Coast) | £24.66 per hour | 6pm-6am, 4 on / 4 off | Temp ongoing (potential permanent)

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Skilled Technician to join a well-established manufacturing site in Mid-Cornwall. This is a long-term opportunity within a respected production environment, offering strong potential for permanent employment and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
Carry out fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
Support production and engineering teams with technical issues.
Work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality standards at all times.

Requirements

Experience in maintaining mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Experience supporting or training production/engineering teams.
PLC or vision systems experience is advantageous (not essential).

Desirable Experience

High-volume manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of OEE, TPM, and SPC.
Maintenance or technical support background.
