Warehouse Materials Manager

What you’ll do:

• You are responsible for all the operational manufacturing shift activities within the warehouse, goods in, material put away, Kan Ban process adherence, material handling and dispatch
• Lead a cross functional team of Team Leaders and Associates by setting clear expectations and accountability through standard work, visual controls as well as utilisation of coaching and development techniques.
• Accountability for the Warehouse safety performance via use of risk assessment, 5s and visual management, adherence to all quality procedures and promotion of Kaizen and daily CI activities.

• Have a relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Materials Management or equivalent practical experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Experience in exporting/shipping processes/procedures
• Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse / logistics / materials environment
• Proven proficiency with ERP systems (preferably SAP and Oracle) to support inventory, processing, and reporting
• Strong ability to deliver results under pressure in a fast‑paced operational setting
• Highly organized, punctual, and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Experience of coaching and developing people, including team leaders and operators

• Formal Lean or Continuous Improvement training is an advantage
• Extensive experience in using SAP and Oracle would be beneficial
