Assistant Accountant Newry We are working with a growing and well-established business within the Retail & Services sector in Newry, currently seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or experienced accounts professional looking to take the next step in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain control accounts Support budgeting and forecasting processes Oversee purchase and sales ledger activity where required Assist with payroll oversight and VAT returns Who Were Looking For Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified Accounting Technician desirable 24 years experience within a finance function, ideally in retail or services
