Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase goods and services in line with company requirements.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels through proactive inventory management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure on‑time deliveries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Ensure supplier performance and quality standards are met.
  • Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and budget.

Cost Control & Documentation

  • Monitor pricing, cost trends, and supplier competitiveness.
  • Maintain procurement records and update the purchasing system.
  • Assist in budget forecasting and cost reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in procurement operations.
  • Support sustainability initiatives through responsible sourcing.
  • Collaborate with production, finance, and other departments for seamless operations.
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and purchasing best practices.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • CIPS qualification (or working towards) is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams.
