Construction Project Coordinator - Newry

Description

We are hiring for our client for a Construction Project Coordinator to join a growing and well-established construction business delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a Construction Project Coordinator looking to gain broad project exposure and develop within a supportive and fast‑paced environment.

The successful Construction Project Coordinator will work closely with directors, site teams, engineers, and clients to support projects from pre‑construction through to completion.

  • The Role
    • Assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects
    • Support project scheduling, procurement and programme management
    • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams
    • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays
    • Prepare project documentation, reports and meeting notes
    • Attend site meetings and support operational project activities
    • Assist with health & safety and quality compliance across projects
    • Provide general coordination and administrative support to the wider team
    The Person
    • Previous experience within the construction industry preferred
    • Strong organisational and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
    • Good Microsoft Office and project software skills
    • Understanding of construction processes and health & safety requirements
    • Construction-related qualification advantageous but not essential
