Senior Estimator

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Estimator for our client, a leading construction contractor delivering residential, commercial and specialist construction projects across Northern Ireland and the East Coast of Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work, playing a key role in securing major projects while working within a supportive and collaborative pre‑construction team.

• Lead the preparation and submission of competitive tenders for a range of construction projects
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to produce accurate cost estimates
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams throughout the tender process
• Support handover of successful bids to the delivery and commercial teams

• Experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within the construction industry
• Proven track record of pricing residential and commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, procurement and contract documentation
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
