Overview

Year 3 Nurture Teaching Assistant - ASD, ADHD & Emotional Needs

Location:

Barnet (excellent transport links - close to Underground and Overground stations with regular bus routes)

Pay: £105-£120 per day

Contract:

Long-term | ASAP start | Temp-to-perm

About the Role

You will work closely with a small group of pupils in a nurture-style setting, supporting emotional regulation, behaviour and social development. The role involves delivering personalised interventions, maintaining clear routines and using trauma-informed approaches to support positive behaviour. You will work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to create a safe, predictable environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.

This is a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barnet with a strong focus on nurture and SEN support. Staff are well supported by an approachable leadership team, and Teaching Assistants are valued as a key part of the school community. The school is easily accessible via public transport, making it ideal for commuters.

What’s on Offer

£105-£120 per day, paid weekly, depending on experience. Long-term role with an immediate start and a genuine temp-to-perm pathway. Ongoing support from Long Term Futures throughout the placement.
