What challenge awaits youWe serve more than 450 customers globally, sending 45+ billion emails a year, both transactional and marketing. Email remains a key revenue‑driving channel in e‑commerce and therefore we need to deliver top‑notch quality. Most of our customers are proudly part of the 99% inbox club and the challenge for you will be to keep that high standard at scale, even with all the new customers we are gaining every quarter.
Yourjob will be to
- Master the Inbox
- Take charge of email deliverability, ensuring that emails sent from our platform reach the inbox and not the spam folder.
- Set up monitoring and alerting on email performance metrics such as open rates, click‑through rates, and bounce rates, and optimize processes for success.
- Stay Trendy
- Keep your finger on the pulse of email compliance trends and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and evolving authentication standards, and ensure our practices stay up to date.
- Identify emerging email marketing trends and technologies, ensuring we stay at the forefront of innovation.
- Be a Data Detective
- Dive deep into data analytics to identify issues and trends that affect email deliverability.
- Collaborate with our email vendors to find solutions to your findings.
- Be a Technical Guru
- Implement best practices for email authentication and security.
- Work with the services team to develop best‑practice guidelines for our customers.
- Collaborate with product team
- Work with our product and engineering teams and suggest ideas for features that will drive personalized and effective email campaigns.
- Professional experience in email deliverability and inbox placement
- Personal motivation, independence, and fluency in English
- Experience in the marketing automation field
- Excellent fluency with data—analytical skills and the ability to use data to generate actionable insights and solve problems
- Tech savviness—understanding complex email scalability challenges globally and a proven ability to solve them
- At least 3 years of experience in this field
- Ability to work with customers, challenge them on their practices, and influence adoption of best‑practice models
- Adaptable and flexible—willingness to explore new technologies and business models, and willing to grow as a person
- Determined—making difficult decisions and trade‑offs and following through
- Communication skills—handling difficult situations and talking to customers, internal stakeholders, and partner organizations
- Independence and self‑organization to navigate ambiguous situations, prioritizing effectively while juggling multiple projects at different maturity stages
