• Undertake scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing
• Carry out corrective maintenance—fault finding, troubleshooting and repair on all solar PV systems, including mechanical and electrical diagnosis on power inverters
• Proactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime, ensuring the highest level of solar plant availability
• Provide out‑of‑hours and weekend response
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements
• Assist in providing solutions to the Technical Manager
• Conduct training lessons to enhance other employees' technical knowledge
• Report all maintenance works carried out using computer‑based service reporting procedures

• Service engineer with a solar PV background
• Troubleshooting and fault‑finding experience
• Knowledge of power inverters
• Computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, email, management and reporting systems, including the use of diagnostic and troubleshooting tools
• Willingness to work overtime on weekends, bank holidays and on short notice
• Valid UK driver’s licence and an acceptable driving record
