We are currently working with a well-established and growing engineering company in the Newry area who are looking to add a Design Engineer to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business with a strong project pipeline and long-term career prospects.

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality designs to support manufacturing and project delivery. You will work closely with production, engineering, and project teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and fit for purpose.

• Create and develop detailed 2D and 3D designs using Solid Works
• Produce manufacturing and assembly drawings
• Support new product development and design improvements
• Liaise with manufacturing to ensure designs are optimised for production
• Review and update existing designs and documentation
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings

• Proven experience in a Design Engineer or similar role
• Strong working knowledge of Solid Works (essential)
• Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings
• Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Salary of £40,000 - £45,000
  , depending on experience
• Monday to Friday working pattern
