Join us as a Senior Systems Engineer to work on specialist Test & Evaluation equipment and facilities across MOD Land Ranges in the UK.
- Lead the technical delivery of Test & Evaluation projects/work packages to time, cost and quality.
- Deliver systems engineering outputs across the project lifecycle including proposals, requirements, integration, test and transition into service.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to refine requirements, identify solutions and manage technical risk.
- Plan and oversee integration, installation and acceptance activities including IT, Safety and Security systems.
- Produce supplier Statements of Work, tender documents and acceptance criteria.
- Mentor junior engineers and support capability growth.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary systems engineering projects.
- Experience delivering systems in safety‑critical or regulated environments.
- Experience producing technical artefacts, requirements and delivering certified outcomes.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and technical delivery across complex programmes.
- Experience in integration, testing and transition into service of complex systems.
- Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle and engineering governance.
- Degree‑level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Civil).
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional status.
- Evidence of experience in systems engineering or equivalent professional training.

Location & TravelThis full‑time role is based at Fort Halstead in Kent. Travel to other Qineti
Q and customer sites will be expected.
Our Fort Halstead facilities support defence‑related research in weapon systems, materials science, systems engineering and advanced simulation techniques.
