Design Engineer Newry £40,000 - £45,000 per annum We are currently working with a well-established and growing engineering company in the Newry area who are looking to add a Design Engineer to their team. The Role As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality designs to support manufacturing and project delivery. You will work closely with production, engineering, and project teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities Create and develop detailed 2D and 3D designs using Solid Works Produce manufacturing and assembly drawings Support new product development and design improvements Liaise with manufacturing to ensure designs are optimised for production Review and update existing designs and documentation Participate in design reviews and project meetings Requirements Proven experience in a Design Engineer or similar role Strong working knowledge of Solid Works (essential) Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team What's on Offer Salary of £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience Monday to Friday working pattern Stable role within a growing engineering business Supportive team environment and long-term career development Apply now or reach out for a confidential discussion with Karl Yellop at INDKY
