Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance/Reliability Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative team within a leading organisation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, optimising company assets, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence and delivering key business objectives.

As a Reliability Engineer, you will:
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and policies.
- Manage third-party contractors, ensuring all necessary documentation, such as risk assessments and method statements, is in place before work commences.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for engineering and maintenance activities.
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure facilities and systems are maintained to the highest standards, minimising downtime and maximising uptime.
- Develop and implement planned maintenance and asset care programmes.
- Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for asset performance, demonstrating improvements in uptime and reliability.
- Ensure all maintenance schedules are met and documented.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and embrace change to enhance operational efficiency.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A 3rd level qualification in a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 5+ years post-apprenticeship experience or 2 years post-graduate experience.
- Proven experience in leading teams, coordinating, and planning work.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive change effectively.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to generate reports.
- Qualification in electrical, electronic, or mechanical disciplines (City & Guilds, BTEC, or Degree).
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification or working towards it.
- 5+ years of supervisory or technical leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
