Accounting & Tax Manager

Artemis Human Capital is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Newry to recruit an Accounting & Tax Manager
. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced practice professional ready to step into a key leadership role with genuine autonomy and a varied client portfolio.

This is a non-audit position offering a broad and engaging workload across accounts and tax. You will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and commercially focused advice.

Core duties will include:

• Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of statutory and management accounts
• Managing corporate and personal tax compliance
• Providing practical, value-add advisory support to clients
• Monitoring workflow and ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved
• Acting as a trusted advisor and primary contact for your client base

Alongside managing client relationships, you will support and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and contributing to their technical development.

• ACA or ACCA qualified (qualified by experience will also be considered)
• Proven background within an accountancy practice setting
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts preparation and tax
• Organised, proactive and confident in managing client relationships
• Experience overseeing or supervising team members would be advantageous

• Salary in the region of £48,000 – £55,000 (DOE)
