Financial Controller

Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working exclusively to appoint a Financial Controller, reporting directly to the CFO.

This is a senior finance leadership role within a growing group, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function during a period of change and development.

The Financial Controller will lead the day-to-day finance function. The role will also involve mentoring and developing an established finance team and working closely with senior stakeholders to support the business through its next phase.

• Ownership of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
• Maintaining strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity
• Supporting statutory accounts preparation and audit
• Acting as a key finance stakeholder during systems and process change
• Mentoring and developing the finance team
• Partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Proven experience at Financial Controller or senior finance level
• Strong background in management reporting, budgeting and financial control
• Experience leading and developing finance teams
• Comfortable operating in a PE-backed or change-driven environment

• High-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO
