In a fast-paced environment, you will support our Tax Partner in advising clients on U.S. income tax reporting obligations and investor tax reporting needs across insurance, hedge funds, and private equity funds. You will also assist with local tax compliance such as Economic Substance, Pillar 2, VAT, and AEOI (FATCA/CRS).

• Provide high-level tax knowledge, judgement and support the Tax Partner.
• Lead the preparation of U.S. income tax returns for partnerships and corporations, including specialized areas such as insurance, international taxation, and hedge funds/private equity funds.
• Assist in developing and expanding the Tax practice, including supervision of tax staff.
• Maintain knowledge of local tax laws and regulations to assist clients.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant tax filings.

• CPA, EA, or legal professional designation (LLM in Tax preferred)
• 6–8 years of U.S. tax experience
• Solid understanding of U.S. federal income tax return preparation for partnerships and corporations
• Experience in U.S. corporate tax and/or asset management (hedge funds or private equity)
• Familiarity with insurance or international tax is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience managing and mentoring staff
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility to work extended hours during busy periods
• Willingness to relocate to Bermuda (relocation assistance and work permit sponsorship provided)
