Full-Time, Permanent About the Role Black Fox Solutions are delighted to be seeking an experienced and commercially focused Financial Controller to join our clients team in Newry. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, and providing strategic financial insight to support business growth. This position is offering the opportunity to play a central role in shaping financial strategy and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements Develop and maintain strong financial controls and processes Provide financial analysis and strategic support to senior management Liaise with external auditors, banks, and professional advisors Oversee payroll, VAT returns, and tax compliance Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members About You Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Minimum 5+ years experience in a senior finance role Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial awareness Experience managing and developing a finance team Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at senior level Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
