Assistant Accountant; Temp-to-Perm

The Company

This company is one of the leading suppliers in its industry, servicing both the UK and Ireland. They have a large, well-established finance team based in Newry and are now looking to add an Assistant Accountant to support their continued growth.

As the successful Assistant Accountant, you will:

• Manage ledgers, reconciliations, and journals.
• Support month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Monitor cash flow and process payments.
• Maintain accurate records and support business decision‑making.

• Experience in a busy accounting or finance environment
• Strong Excel skills and good general systems knowledge
• High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
• Ability to manage workload, work independently, and communicate effectively

• On‑site parking
• Salary up to £40,000
• 30 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays)
