About the Job

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of the companies accounts function.

• Managing the full accounts function from purchase ledger through to financial reporting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Managing purchase ledger and sales ledger processes
• Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Preparation and submission of CIS and RCT returns
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Liaising with external accountants and auditors
• Assisting with year-end accounts preparation
• Monitoring financial controls and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Providing financial support and reporting to senior management

Skills and Experience

• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA/CIMA, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
• Previous experience within a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of management accounts, VAT, and reconciliations
• Experience with CIS/RCT returns is desirable
