SHO Accident and Emergency Northern Ireland

SHO A&E Position – Immediate Start
Location:
Northern Ireland
Contract: 6 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Salary:
Competitive, depending on experience

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled SHO to join the A&E team at a well-established NHS hospital in Northern Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for an SHO with at least 12 months of NHS experience in A&E to expand their knowledge and experience while working in a fast-paced, diverse clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing high-quality medical care to patients in the Accident & Emergency department

Assessing, diagnosing, and treating emergency cases under the supervision of senior clinicians

Assisting in the management of emergency cases and critical situations

Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care

Documenting patient information accurately and promptly

Participating in daily handovers, ward rounds, and departmental meetings

Ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines, protocols, and best practices

GMC registration with a license to practice

Minimum of 12 months NHS experience in A&E (essential)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced team environment

Must be available to start ASAP
