Quick onbarding process with ongoing weekly work
We are currently looking for an experienced Support Worker to work from Monday to Friday at a day service specialising in supporting service users with moderate to severe autism.
The service is based in NG5, Nottingham and you will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team to deliver the very best experience for the service user whilst also carefully promoting independence where appropriate.
Duties- Following personal care plans
- Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home
- General housekeeping and domestic duties
- Helping service users remain as independent as possible and catering to their likes and dislikes
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Undertaking activities to keep the service users engaged and active

RequirementsTo demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of a Support Worker you will need:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling and Autism and Learning Disabilities training (Oliver Mcgowan)
- A referenceable work history
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
This is a ongoing opportunity, with the potential for a permanent role.
Hours available Monday to Friday 10:00 to 15:00
You will be paid £12.21 per hour
