Relief Day Care Worker

Are you caring, compassionate and passionate about supporting others? We are looking for a Relief Day Care Worker to join our team and help provide high‑quality care and support to people attending our day care service.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support service users with their physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing, promoting dignity, independence and inclusion in a safe and welcoming environment.

• Supporting personal care and daily living needs.
• Encouraging participation in activities and social interaction.
• Assisting with meals, refreshments and maintaining a clean environment.
• Following care plans and maintaining accurate records.
• Working in line with health and safety requirements and organisational policies.

• Compassionate, patient and flexible with a genuine desire to help others.
• Comfortable working in different situations and as part of a wider team.
• Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential.
• Hold or be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
• Membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC are required.
• Respect for the Christian Ethos and ability to work within it.
