Position: Housekeeping/Catering Assistant (Bank)

Bank Staff – Catering & Housekeeping

We are currently looking for Bank Staff to join our Catering and Housekeeping Departments. Bank work is casual/relief work offered on an ad hoc basis, as and when there are shifts available.

As a member of the Relief Team, you will support the Catering Department in the day‑to‑day operation of a busy hospice kitchen, helping to maintain high standards of food preparation, service, hygiene, and cleanliness.

In addition, you will provide support to the Housekeeping Team
, ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control are maintained across all Hospice premises, including the Inpatient Unit, Day Therapy Centre, and Offices.

Medical Officer – Self‑Employed Sessions

We are seeking to recruit Medical Officers for weekday, weekend and on‑call sessions on a self‑employed basis.

Requirements:

  • Full GMC Registration
  • 2 years’ full time equivalent experience post qualification
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience
  • Excellent communication skills

Ideally you will have experience in Palliative Medicine or Oncology but they are not essential as full training will be provided.

Palliative Medicine Consultant

The post holder will contribute to the enhancement of palliative care services for patients and their families by promoting high-quality, person-centered care, supporting effective end-of-life care planning, and advancing the development of integrated hospice and community-based palliative care services. In addition, the post holder will support the delivery of specialist palliative care education for both hospice staff and external stakeholders.
