Payroll Officer - Newry - £27,000 - £30,000 An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Officer to join our clients team in their Head Office in Newry.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while delivering a high standard of service to employees.

Key Responsibilities Processing monthly payroll accurately and within strict deadlines Ensuring data from time and attendance systems is captured and validated correctly Working closely with HR to manage starters, leavers, salary changes, and auto-enrolment requirements Preparing and submitting statutory payments including BACS, PAYE, and pension contributions Producing payroll reports, reconciliations, monthly analysis, and year-end summaries Responding to payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation
