Contracts Manager (Mid-Level) - ERP Programme

Our client is delivering a major ERP transformation and is looking for a detail‑driven Contracts Manager to support commercial governance, supplier oversight, and contractual assurance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analysing complex information, extracting clarity from dense documentation, and ensuring suppliers operate within agreed contractual boundaries.

You’ll play a key part in the programme’s commercial function, reviewing contracts, extracting critical information, and supporting the team with clear, accurate insight. Working across Oracle Cloud agreements, systems integrator contracts, and third‑party suppliers, you’ll help the programme stay compliant, well‑governed, and commercially protected.

• Extracting key obligations, dependencies, risks, and entitlements from supplier contracts and presenting them clearly to programme teams.
• Conducting research to validate contractual positions.
• Maintaining a clear, accessible library of contractual insights and obligations for project and commercial colleagues.
• Supporting change control processes by reviewing proposed changes and identifying contractual impacts.
• Tracking supplier performance against contractual commitments and escalating issues where obligations are unclear or unmet.
• Maintaining accurate documentation, audit trails, and commercial records to support governance and assurance.

• Experience in contract management or commercial support within a public‑sector technology, digital, or ERP environment.
• Strong ability to read, digest, and interpret complex contractual documentation.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud contracts or ERP delivery environments (highly desirable).
• Experience extracting information from suppliers and driving clarity through structured questioning.
• Understanding of public‑sector procurement frameworks and compliance requirements.
