Overview
The Workday Reporting & Prism Analytics Senior Principal Consultant plays a senior role, partnering with clients to deliver ongoing reporting and analytics solutions that extend the value of their Workday investment.
This role focuses on post production support and continuous optimization across HCM and/or Financials
, leveraging Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Prism Analytics.
- Lead the design, enhancement, and support of complex Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics within an AMS delivery model.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics, advising clients on best practices and scalable design.
- Translate business requirements into effective analytics solutions through direct collaboration with functional and technical stakeholders.
- Support post go live environments by resolving issues, delivering enhancements, and managing ongoing reporting needs.
- Assess design options, risks, and downstream impacts, providing clear recommendations aligned to Workday capabilities.
- Mentor consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing to strengthen the AMS Reporting and Analytics practice.
- Support solutioning and proposal development for new and expanding AMS engagements.
- Extensive hands on experience with Workday Reporting and Analytics, including complex calculated fields, dashboards, custom reports including matrix and composite reports and Prism data models.
- Experience supporting Workday Financials and/or HCM reporting
; BIRT experience preferred. - Proven leadership delivering reporting or analytics solutions for enterprise ERP or HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, People Soft, Success Factors).
- Background in post production support, managed services, or long term client engagements.
- Strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple clients and operate in a dynamic, growing, ecosystem with minimal supervision.
- Minimal travel required; occasional on site support as needed.
