This role is responsible for shaping and governing SGN’s learning solutions to support business transformation, operational change and workforce competence. The Learning Solutions Manager ensures learning is strategically aligned, appropriately designed, quality assured and effectively implemented across SGN.

• Set and maintain the learner experience and strategy, ensuring learning solutions are consistent, effective and aligned to business priorities.
• Provide governance and assurance of learning solutions, including reviewing and agreeing learning approaches, managing demand prioritisation, and providing final sign-off for training content prior to release.
• Provide strategic oversight of training delivery planning for new programmes and transformation initiatives, ensuring appropriate resourcing, timelines and coordination.
• Be accountable for learning content quality and compliance, including change control, assessment validation and actions arising from internal and external audits.
• Build and manage strong senior stakeholder and supplier relationships, securing leadership endorsement of learning requirements, managing expectations, and overseeing the introduction, maintenance and assurance of both internal and third‑party learning solutions and content.

• Strong understanding of SGN’s operating model and learning requirements across directorates, including safety‑critical, regulatory and transformation‑driven training.
• Proven experience providing governance, assurance and sign-off of learning solutions, ensuring quality, consistency and compliance across digital, classroom and third‑party provision.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, secure leadership buy‑in and manage expectations on learning priorities, scope and delivery.
• Experience overseeing the planning and rollout of complex learning programmes or digital initiatives, working with multiple internal teams and external suppliers.
• Strong demand, prioritisation and decision‑making capability, balancing competing learning requirements against capacity, risk and business need.
