To develop, implement and maintain standardised SOPs across all warehouse sites Review existing processes regularly to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities. Conduct regular process audits Create and deliver training materials and sessions to support new or updated processes and SOPs. Ensure KPI consistency and reporting accuracy Create and present weekly and monthly reports to the wider operations team. Lead lean initiatives across sites Implement productivity improvement projects to include cost reduction initiatives Facilitate cross-site best practice sharing Plan and carry out regular site visits to warehouses in England and Scotland (at least once per month per site) to:
Audit process compliance Observe operations and gather feedback Provide coaching and support to teams Support system enhancements and process automation Assist in future expansion planning Drive cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain and Sales The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the role.
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Essential Skills & Experience Previous Experience in a similar role Strong background in operations or logistics, with hands-on understanding of warehouse and/or distribution processes. Proven experience in process mapping, process improvement, and documentation. Excellent communication skills, able to work with teams at all levels and gain buy-in for new ways of working. Strong understanding of lean principles Strong analytical capability through the use of MS Suite/ERP Full Driving Licence.
Desirable Skills & Experience Lean Qualification (e.g., Green Belt) WMS/ERP experience (Preferably Intact)
