About this Role:
As a Project Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Project Management and take ownership of projects from initiation to closure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading projects across new product development, product lifecycle management, and strategic business improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Commercial, and Finance.
- Developing project scopes, budgets, timelines, and status reports using established project management processes and systems.
- Managing risks, issues, and change control processes effectively to ensure project success.
- Driving continuous improvement and implementing lessons learned across projects.
- Supporting portfolio management and contributing to company‑wide initiatives.
- Presenting at internal and external meetings, ensuring clear and effective stakeholder communication.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential criteria:
- A relevant third‑level qualification, preferably with a strong scientific focus.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent influencing and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross‑functional matrix teams effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and processes.
- A results‑driven mindset with the ability to drive change at all levels to accelerate project plans.
Desirable Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related regulated industry.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines.
- Prince2/PMP Project Management Certification (or similar standard).
- Experience managing people.
