The Role You will act as a key point of contact for three large Defined Benefit schemes, ensuring a high-quality administration service and supporting the effective management of client relationships. Responsibilities will include:
Leading the day-to-day administration and service delivery for three large DB pension schemes. Acting as a principal point of contact for clients, trustees and other key stakeholders. Managing client expectations, responding to queries and ensuring agreed service standards are maintained. Overseeing complex DB administration matters, including retirements, deaths, transfers, calculations and scheme-specific processes. Monitoring workloads, priorities, deadlines and service performance across the schemes.
Supporting the resolution of escalated technical and administration issues. Attending and contributing to client meetings, providing updates on service delivery and administration matters. Working closely with internal teams to ensure a joined-up, proactive service. Identifying opportunities to improve processes, client experience and operational efficiency. Deputising for senior management when required, providing additional leadership and support across the team. About You We are looking for someone with substantial experience in Defined Benefit pensions administration who is ready to take ownership of significant client relationships and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
You will ideally bring:
Extensive experience in DB pensions administration, including strong technical knowledge of complex schemes. Previous experience in a senior administrator, team leader, client manager or similar role. Confidence managing client relationships and communicating with trustees and senior stakeholders. A strong understanding of DB administration processes, legislation and service delivery requirements. The ability to oversee multiple priorities and maintain high standards across large, complex schemes.
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. A proactive, commercially aware approach and the confidence to deputise for senior colleagues. What's on Offer? This is an opportunity to develop your career in a role that combines technical DB expertise with meaningful client ownership and leadership exposure. You will work with three substantial schemes, gain experience deputising at a senior level and have the opportunity to further develop your client-management career.
Salary:
Up to £48,000, depending on experience.
Location:
