Job facts

This role is full time and fully remote based in the UK only, travel distance to London ideally.

You must be available to travel for regular in‑person team and client meetings. Being remote doesn't mean we don't meet each other. The first few weeks of your role will involve lots of in‑person training with your colleagues. We can be flexible with timings, but the ability to travel and meet up is crucial.

Salary depending on experience £30k-£35k

Job overview

You’ll support senior consultants in the delivery of digital transformation projects. The role combines hands‑on system configuration with project coordination and documentation.

The right person should be comfortable in picking up software tools quickly, be able to write and interpret documentation, generally be a logical and strategic thinker and a great communicator.

We work on a number of projects and ongoing clients at any one time, so being organised and able to manage how best to switch context between projects in an efficient manner is important – because we don’t want you to get stressed or confused!

We’re open to shape the scope and responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities
  • Write, record and maintain CMS, CRM (or other) user guides for clients
  • Support senior consultants in workshops with note taking, creating process diagrams, prepare workshop materials
  • CRM or other systems configuration for clients. This involves configuring custom records and fields in an online platform according to planning documents.
  • Set up automations (e.g. via tools like Power Automate, Zapier, n8n,...)
  • Support technical delivery team with end‑to‑end testing of systems, e.g. integrations between two SaaS tools
Must have
  • Happy to work across multiple projects at the same time and be able switch context
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues
  • Comfortable with learning a number of SaaS products
  • Be confident (or learn to be!) to present to clients
  • Be based in the UK
  • No AI applications – you will be using AI tools for some of the job deliveries, but we only want to hear from you directly
  • Write to us a short (!) paragraph about why you think you’d be a good fit and what you are looking for or expect from us
Would be good but not essential
  • A technical background is useful
  • Confident working in a remote environment and collaborating effectively with distributed teams
  • Familiarity with project management tools
Company Benefits
  • Profit‑based bonus
  • Free lunches or choice of other benefits
  • Equipment for remote work
  • Travel expenses paid for
  • 33 days of holiday (including UK bank holidays)
  • Flexible bank holidays – swap them around
  • No overtime (that really shouldn’t be a benefit, we know, but worth pointing out!)
  • Family friendly parental leave policy
  • Ongoing training opportunities
Interview Process
  • Send a short video (30 seconds fine, doesn’t have to be polished!) telling us who you are and why we’d be a good fit for each other.
  • Basic CV screening
  • Initial 5‑minute screening phone call to establish if we could be a match
  • Questionnaire to evaluate thought processes, simple task and written communication skills
  • Video call(s) (up to
    2) and a personal meeting for formal interview and to meet further team members
  • References from previous employers and background check
  • Offer

Note:

This role is fully remote. However, you should be able to travel to London, Manchester or other locations for in‑person meetings and co‑working as well as a yearly overnight all‑team building outing. You also need to attend client workshops in the UK. If you’re under 1 hour commute from London we’re encouraging more regular meetups.

At Telescopic, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected. We welcome and encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including those from underrepresented groups. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability status.
