Participant Support & Quality Assurance Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: CLANRYE GROUPThis entry-level role will support adults with Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD) as they develop independence and work-related skills through practical fulfilment tasks such as packaging, labelling, sorting, and assembly.

The post holder will work closely with the Lead Support Worker to assist participants in their daily routines and independence sessions, while taking a lead role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and presentation of all fulfilment tasks completed.

You will be supported and trained by the Clanrye team to maintain quality standards, encourage participants, and help create a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Participant Support - Support adults with Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD) in daily activities, encouraging independence, confidence, and skill development.
  • Participant Support - Provide positive reinforcement and guidance during tasks.
  • Participant Support - Prepare work areas and materials to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Participant Support - Work with the Lead Support Worker to follow daily routines and learning plans.
  • Participant Support - Help participants build communication, teamwork, and employability skills through structured practice.
  • Participant Support - Communicate effectively within a small, supportive team.
  • Participant Support - Attend staff meetings, training, and reflective sessions to develop skills and confidence.
  • Participant Support - Offer ideas and feedback to improve participant experience and fulfilment services.
  • Fulfilment & Quality Assurance - Check and maintain quality standards for packaging, assembly, and fulfilment tasks.
  • Fulfilment & Quality Assurance - Check Ensure all products meet required specifications before dispatch.
  • Fulfilment & Quality Assurance - Check Keep work spaces organised and products clearly labelled for collection.
  • Fulfilment & Quality Assurance - Check Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
  • Fulfilment & Quality Assurance - Check Record task completion and quality checks as required.
  • Fulfilment & Quality Assurance - Check Assist with continuous improvement of fulfilment processes.
  • Fulfilment & Quality Assurance - Check Support movement of materials and products between Clanrye sites and the central hub.
  • Fulfilment & Quality Assurance - Check Ensure items are transported safely and in line with quality standards.
  • Fulfilment & Quality Assurance - Check Maintain simple records of collections, deliveries, and stock movement.
  • General Duties - Adhere to Clanrye Group’s ‘Code of Conduct’ maintaining confidentiality, professionalism and quality standards across all work practices and interactions.
  • General Duties - Perform job duties in compliance with Clanrye Group’s policies and procedures to include adherence to equal opportunities, health and safety legislation and data protection requirements.
  • General Duties - Demonstrate commitment to Clanrye Group through the completion of all tasks allocated by attending staff and development opportunities to ensure that professional competency is maintained.
  • General Duties - Ensure that all safeguarding procedures are followed as outlined in Clanrye Group’s safeguarding manual.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrates a supportive and inclusive approach when working with adults with MLD.
  • Able to follow instructions carefully and complete practical tasks to the required standard.
  • Shows attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilment and participant support tasks.
  • Demonstrates reliability, consistency, and a willingness to complete assigned responsibilities.
  • Works effectively as part of a team and communicates clearly with staff and participants.
  • Maths and English qualifications.
  • Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role.
  • No previous experience required - full training will be provided.
  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a respectful approach towards others.
  • Able to remain calm and adapt to changing needs while supporting participants
