Summary
From our Head Office to the shop floor and everywhere in between our primary goal is to create and deliver a fantastic customer journey for everyone who shops that sounds like you, earn £370+ per week as a Customer Assistant on our standard 30‑hour contract.
Shift Patterns- Morning shift:
Starting at 5am or 6am with your team, you’ll be getting our award‑winning products fully stocked on the shop floor and our delicious bakery products ready for customers by opening time. - Middle shift:
Starting mid‑morning or early afternoon, you’ll make sure our stores are spotlessly clean, well presented and our products remain fresh, while helping customers with queries on the shop floor and working on tills to minimise queue times. - Late shift:
From your start time in the afternoon, you’ll ensure a top‑class customer experience by serving them with a smile while on the tills, restocking missing items and preparing the store for the next day.
- Interact with customers in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
- Ensure stock‑loss controls are followed in all areas of the store.
- Maintain store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Follow freshness and rotation principles.
- Ensure all waste is managed correctly.
- Assist in the stock count process.
- A can‑do attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- The willingness to go the extra mile for our customers.
- Responsibility and reliability.
- Enjoyment of working in a fast‑paced, varied environment.
- A good team player.
- Preferably, previous experience in a customer‑facing role, but this is not essential if you have the right attitude.

- £12.40 per hour, rising to £14.10 per hour after 3 years.
- Additional supplements paid depending on the days & hours worked.
