Cuan Mhuire Charity Shop volunteer

Cuan Mhuire is inviting enthusiastic volunteers to become part of our team at our charity shop on Hill Street, Newry.

If you can offer a few hours each week
, your support will play a valuable role in helping us generate funds for our vital services. These services provide rehabilitation, treatment, and supported housing for those affected by addiction and related challenges
, helping individuals rebuild their lives and strengthen families.

Currently we need support in the shop on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays mornings or afternoons between 9.30-5pm.

• Welcoming and helping customers
• Sorting and organising donated items
• Preparing and designing shop displays
• Handling sales at the till
• If you don't have experience, don't worry we support you until you are feeling confident

• Connect with people from all walks of life
• Develop practical retail and customer service skills
• Be part of a friendly and encouraging environment
• Support a meaningful cause that makes a lasting difference in the community
• If you’re approachable, willing to help, and have some spare time, we would be delighted to welcome you to our team.
